Dear Reader,Welcome to a new year of Barnstorm. Our 2016–2017 staff is excited to launch another great year full of writerly ruminations, interviews, photography, and (of course!) some marvelous fiction, nonfiction, and poetry. I invite you to read along with us this year as we explore the landscape of contemporary literature and celebrate words and the people who write them.We are always on the lookout for fresh words from fresh voices, and I encourage you to review our submission guidelines and send us your work.
