Ephraim Scott Sommers grew up in Atascadero, California. He received a BA in English and a BA in Political Science from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 2006. As a singer and guitar player, Ephraim has produced three full-length albums of music and toured internationally both as a solo artist and with his band Siko. His writing has appeared in New Madrid, Versedaily.org, City Works, and The San Diego Poetry Annual. He is currently working toward his MFA and his first collection of poems at San Diego State University.
