White people rejoice: Tom Wolfe and John Irving have birthdays today. T.Wolfe is 81, which is one million in dapper hat years, and J.Irv. is 70, which is a spry 250 in mangy dancing bear years.
Speaking of the latter bro, Irving's got a new novel coming out called In One Person. More about it here. He seems like a nice man, feel sort of bad for making fun of him in the last joke. Not enough to delete it though.
